On Saturday the Eagles claimed cornerback Shaun Prater, a fifth-round pick cut by the Bengals.

The Eagles also signed safety Trenton Robinson (5-9, 195) to their practice squad. Robinson was a 2012 sixth-round pick of the 49ers.

Robinson (Michigan State) is a free safety. Several teams were interested in him, per reports, but the Eagles convinced him he had the best chance of working his way onto the field with them.

The Eagles gave practice squad contracts to rookie offensive tackle Michael Bamiro, linebacker Travis Long, wide receiver Greg Salas and running back Matthew Tucker. All were part of the Eagles' final cuts.

Finally, ESPN's Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) reported that guard Danny Watkins, the first-round pick cut Saturday by the Eagles, worked out with the Dolphins.
